ulive was a video-centric lifestyle content brand designed to attract a younger demographic to the Scripps Networks Interactive family of brands. Programming leveraged evergreen content from brands such as Food Network, Cooking Channel, HGTV and Travel Channel combined with commissioned lifestyle video assets from socially-popular content creators. Integration of rich, targeted metadata into the video player enabled deep and cross-linking as well as more organic advertising opportunities.

ulive was to be an innovative video experience leveraging deep asset metadata to support an enhanced viewing experience including supportive flat content, new forms of relative ecommerce, native advertising and display ad opportunities. The initial launch was based on responsive design principles with the future iterations to include native app experiences for tablet and smart phone.
