Creative Services conceived, designed and produced custom ad experiences across all of Scripps Networks Interactive digital properties. Ad products I introduced during my department management included interactive preRolls, video overlays, brandscapes, pushdowns, rich media half page ads, hover ads, photo gallery interstitials and native advertising such as recipe search integration. Videos series I art directed for sponsored microsites were the top two most viewed videos of the year.

Robin Miller Quick Fix Meals

An interactive meal planning application built around the concept of Robin Miller’s show on Food Network. Users were able to drag meals to a planner which would generate a shopping list and prep calendar corresponding to the user’s chosen meals. Each meal had a corresponding video and text recipe.

Interactive preRoll

This was the first interactive preRoll for Scripps properties. The client was Bacardi mixers. Clicking on recipes that overlayed the video opened an interactive recipe guide based on Bacardi products with links to download a PDFs of the recipes.

Social Ads

Bush Beans wanted an microsite where users could share customized videos of Duke the talking dog with their friends to promote their baked bean product line.

Photo gallery interstitials

A rich experience tying in auto design with interior and architectural designers as a integration point for Lincoln into the highly trafficked photo galleries on HGTV.com.

Campaign landing pages

An endemic partner integration into foodnetwork.com with customized brandscaping surrounding the ingested content. Interactive ads and integrated recipes in search were traffic drivers to this partner immersive experience.
